“Avengers 3” Movie Update, Spoilers and Release Date Alert: Second Major Villain Casting Reveals

Marvel will release 'Avengers: Infinity War Part 1' in 2017 and will be followed by 'Avengers: Infinity War Part 2' set to be released in 2019. The studio is now seeking an actor to play a major villain from the comics. As a matter of fact; there is an audition that is happening in Los Angeles.

According to Movie Web, the studio is now seeking an actor to play the role of Magus, the evil side of Adam Warlock. This character has an ability to separate from his body and creates the Infinity Gauntlet. It also creates doppelgangers' of Earth's Mightiest Heroes as part of Thanos' (Josh Brolin) plan to spread evil. Actors who want to play this kind of role must be able to work in U.K. With the production located at Pinewood Studios in London, that's where Scott Derrickson is headed this week to prepare to shoot 'Doctor Strange'.

Screen Rant quoted, "Both it (Avengers) and Guardians of the Galaxy 2 which writer-director James Gunn has already finished the first script draft for are next in line to enter production, so the casting calls could coincide with these projects as well as 'Infinity War'."

It was also already confirmed that Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, alongside Chris Hemsworth as Thor, with Josh Brolin as Thanos andChris Evans as Captain America are "in" in the movie. There is still no update about casting Jeremy Renner who played Hawkeye, Samuel L. Chris Pratt, one of the cast members of 'Guardians of the Galaxy' had hinted at a possible traverse with the 'Avengers: Infinity Wars', with a possibility that the 'Avengers: Infinity War' may feature Star-Lord, mainly because of the Power Stone.

'Avengers: Infinity War - Part I' will be shot entirely on the IMAX/ARRI 2D digital cameras.
