The enormous 16,000-square-foot brick mansion in Northville, MI and house of Thomas Prose, formerly known as the "rogue Czech consulate", is up for sale, according to Realtor. The article added that the house costs $14.5 million.
In the article, Realtor released some of the details of the house such as, its size is at 15,849 Sq. Ft. and ot size is 6.19 acres. The home has 5 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms with 2 half bathrooms. Also, the article included some interior features such as air cleaner, elevator, security alarm and sound system.
Last year, an article of Freep revealed that six acres inside Northville city, not the roomier Northville Township. It's a five-block walk to the shops and restaurants on Northville's Main Street.
In addition, the article also enumerated it's features like the lower level produced the Fox Theatre and Detroit Opera House and the house has a theater with 12 velvet-covered seats on risers, in a red and gold setting that has arches inside arches. There is also a real stage with footlights and a red velvet curtain with long gold fringe. The house was inspired by New York City's original Paramount Movie Palace.

On July 1, 2004, Dr. Thomas Prose deeded his 16,0000-square-foot Detroit-area home to the Czech Republic, documents on file with the Northville tax assessor show. The next day, Prose was named honorary consul by the minister of foreign affairs of the Czech Republic, as cited in UPI.
