Miley Cyrus recently dominated the battle for the Sexiest Vegetarian of 2015. She rose among other famous contenders including Ariana Grande, Paul McCartney, Ellen DeGeneres, Kate Mara and Jessica Chastain for the award given by animal rights organization, PETA.
Cyrus, 22, is not only a pop icon but is also dedicated to her LGBT Happy Hippie foundation. This week she claimed she is the kind of person that stands for what she believes in. PETA knew right from the start that the "Adore You" singer was the one they were looking for after seeing her social media posts displaying her love for pets and her vegetarian lifestyle, People reports.
"After hearing the heartrending song written for her beloved blowfish and reading about her unflinching dedication to animal rights and her decision to go vegan, PETA knew that Miley Cyrus isn't just any sexy vegetarian celebrity-she's the Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity of 2015!" said the animal rights organization in a blog post.
Recently, the "We Can't Stop" singer posed for a Paper magazine cover with her pig, Bubba Sue, where she revealed how she started being a vegan and shared a part of her philanthropic deed in her foundation, InStyle said.
Moreover, Cyrus also posted an Instagram photo which she captioned, "So many good plants/fruits/veggies to eat you ain't gottttta eat dead animals!" The photo reportedly shows how the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker adore meat-free meals.
The Sexiest Vegetarian award was previously won by Jared Leto, Carrie Underwood, Jessica Chastain, and Olivia Wilde.
