Watch Emilia Clarke’s Opinion on 'Game of Thrones’ Season 5 Finale: Daenarys Believes Jon Snow Might Return [Video]

The very first Game of Thrones cast member to admit the possibility of Jon Snow's return is none other than, Emilia Clarke! The 28-year-old British stunner who played the "dragon queen" Daenarys finally gave her opinion on the much-talk about question from GOT Season 5 Finale's shocker, "Is Jon Snow really dead"? And her answer? "If I had to bet, I'd say there's like a 50/50 chance. There's some very helpful people there who could bring him on back to life."

Mhm... if that doesn't make you see a glint of hope then I don't know what will.

From past interviews and reviews, we were only hearing the same thing over and over, "Jon Snow is dead. He's not coming back. Get over it." Even Kit Harington, the actor who played the brooding Jon Snow, tells us, "I've been told I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm not coming back next season. So that's all I can tell you, really." Well, until now that is... Khaleesi is indeed a rebel.

"Seriously, I can with all honesty say that I have no idea what's happening," Clarke told MTV. She even admitted to being a terrible liar and she can never keep a big secret. In fact, she was even surprised when she learned that Jon Snow was killed in just five minutes of the Season 5 Finale. And yes, she did cry reading the script.

Of course, many loyalists and GOT fans share Clarke's theory. Some popular conspiracy theories are: Melisandre bringing Jon Snow back from the dead or that Jon Snow transfering his soul to his direwolf, Ghost.

To answer, George R.R Martin, the famed author himself gave us a cryptic message in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, "If there's one thing we know in A Song of Ice and Fire, it's that death is not necessarily permanent."
