In the recent "The Originals" Season 3 spoilers, it was revealed that the first episode will feature events four months after the Season 2 finale. According to Entertainment Weekly, this four-month jump time will reveal Hayley, played by Phoebe Tonkin, still in wolf form after Klaus, played by Joseph Morgan, made a deal to curse Hayley to transform into her wolf form except on the full moon. Fans of Hayley and Klaus' relationship may have to wait for the relationship to progress.
According to KDrama Stars, in her interview, Tonkin revealed that there will definitely be a lot of tension between her and Klaus in the new season. She hinted that Hayley may not forgive Klaus that easily this time for what he has done to her even though he did it for the good of his child. In addition, Tonkin said that Hayley is now pissed at Klaus and fans are going to find out what will happen between the two in Season 3.
If Klaus will not have a romantic relationship with Hayley anytime soon, producer Michael Narducci may have hinted that the vampire hybrid may have a chance with Cami (Leah Pipes), whom Klaus became closer with during Season 2. According to Movie Pilot, the two may be involved in a romance in the long run since Klaus sees that Cami understands him and feels a certain amount of peace with her. Cami also tries to look at Klaus with understanding and compassion and always hopes the best for him. According to the producer, the two really have chemistry although they are not in a rush to get the two characters together.
Danielle Campbell, who plays Davina, also added that Season 3 will be very different from the previous seasons of "The Vampire Diaries" spinoff series. According to The Originals website, the new season will have heightened drama and will absolutely have a new twist and storylines.
"The Originals" is set to return on The CW on October 8, right after "The Vampire Diaries."
