After two years of being together, Nick Jonas and Oliva Culpo have called it a quits, according to a report from People.
The article said that the singer admitted that he's against making long-distance relationships work. He said, "It's just about trying to take it one step at a time. I think that the long distance thing can be tough, but ... try to stay in communication, keep it transparent and honest, and it should be okay."
In an article from MTV, the two met during the 2013 Miss USA competition and started dating in August of the same year.
Rumors of a split have surrounded the former couple recently, especially since the good-looking pair haven't been seen together since the 2015 Billboard Music Awards last May 17, as reported by ET.
Another article from MTV mentioned that the song "Jealous" is dedicated to her ex-girlfriend because he feels jealousy as men eye his ex-girlfriend. The lines, "It's not your fault that they hover, I mean no disrespect/ It's my right to be hellish, I still get jealous," supported the statement.
MTV also reported that rhe "Jealous" singer wished the former Miss USA beauty all the best. He said, "I wish the best for her in the future. And we had a great two years."
The article added that Jonas is not in the rush to be in a relationship. He added, "I don't know - it's too early," he said. "I'm focused on my work and that, to me, is the priority right now."
Same article of MTV mentioned that Olivia took to social media to assure her fans that even though "heartbreak is hard," she is "going to be okay."
Olivia Culpo posted a quote by Maya Angelou on her Instagram account two weeks ago. Also, she also posted in her Twitter account last June 27 saying "YOU are enough <3".
