It was first published by The Orange Country Register that the 39-year old former tennis star is putting her single-level home in the market. Located in Laguna Beach's Emerald Bay, the 2,134-square foot home is worth a stunning $3.25 million.
The single-story home, built in 1965, stands on the corner lot of Emerald Bay's oceanfront guard-gated community. The residence has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a formal living room with an antique brick fireplace, a fancy kitchen, with dining and family rooms as well.
The kitchen, according the Los Angeles Times, has a center sit-down island and equipped with Viking commercial-grade appliances such as a 6-burner cook top with warming drawer, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher and a double oven.
Other sophisticated interior details include beamed cathedral-style ceilings and hardwood floors. While exterior designs include glass sliding doors leading to a patio and a brick fountain structure. In its yard, there also lie an outdoor putting green, dining area and a spa.
It was first bought by Davenport in 2000 for $1.305 million, according to property records. The Orange County Register also reported that the tennis star's former home is up for lease at $8,000 a month. The whole house is reported to be sold "as is," with the owners having no further repairs.
Together with husband Jon Leach, she is set to settle in another home located also in the same guard-gated community.
Among the amenities in Emerald Bay include a half mile private beach, a swimming pool complex, six tennis courts and three beach volleyball courts.
Harold Noriega from HOM Sotheby's International Realty is the listing agent.
Born in Palos Verdes California, Davenport was a former Wold No. 1 tennis player who won six Grand Slam titles. One of her greatest achievements in her career was winning an Olympic gold medal in women's singles at the 1996 Summer Olympics.
