The US Supreme Court with Chief Justice Roberts along with other dissenters has already issued a decision regarding the same-sex marriage on Friday, ruling that under the 14th Amendment, states cannot ban same-sex marriages which will effectively legalizing gay marriage across the entire United States. As of Friday, 37 states and the District of Columbia have recognized SSM. Massachusetts became the first state to legalize gay marriage Business Insider reported.
According to the ruling written by Justice Anthony Kennedy, the states should identify the legal agreements in other states. The conclusion of Kennedy towards same-sex marriage was quoted by the Business Insider which was stated "They ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law, the Constitution grants them that right."

Hillary Clinton also tweeted on Friday, saying "Proud to celebrate a historic victory for marriage equality-& the courage & determination of LGBT Americans who made it possible. -H"
The famous Ellen DeGeneres rejoiced and tweeted over the news saying "Love won. #MarriageEquality" Jesse Tyler was emotional and thankful that marriage equality has finally come to the U.S. Sean Hayes posted a celebratory video link on tweeter to honor the historic event, he posted it with a hash tag #MarriageEquality for all. Anna Kendrick remarked "Today is beautiful".
