Bristol Palin, who is pregnant with her second child, has revealed that her pregnancy was actually planned. The former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant shocked everyone when she wrote a blog post titled "My Little Blessing" on June 28.
In her blog, the 24-year-old teen pregnancy prevention spokesperson reversed her earlier statement, saying it's high time to get things straight before people begin to mock, judge and talk about her. "I made a mistake, but it's not the mistake all these giddy a$$holes have loved to assume," Palin wrote. "This pregnancy was actually planned."
Palin was previously engaged to former Marine and Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer, but they called it quits a week before their supposed wedding in May. On Friday, Palin referred to her pregnancy as a "huge disappointment," Fox News reports. However, nearly two days after, the reality TV star changed her claim, saying she doesn't regret her pregnancy and it was actually a blessing. She also expressed her excitement and said that she can't wait for her baby#2, TMZ reports.
"Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family. Believing I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself. Things didn't go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on," she added.
Palin also previously hinted how her first child Tripp is going to be a big brother. She also added that she was never paid by The Candies Foundation as their abstinence spokesperson. She instead said that she worked for them when she was 18 or 19 to share to the public the challenges of teen pregnancy.
