Justin Bieber's "Where Are You Now" video that was released Monday drew a lot of "Believers" together as the crooner finally released his latest album after more than a year. What's more surprising, the Justin-Selena story doesn't seem to be over yet after his fans reportedly noted that the "Where Are You Now" video shows the inner side of Bieber and his love for his former girlfriend.
In the making of the video footages for Justin Bieber's "Where Are You Now," fans were invited to doodle on the video stills at the Seventh Letter Gallery in Los Angeles. In one part of the video, his supporters were moved after seeing the writing that reads, "Where r u now, Selena," Entertainment Online reports.
Justin Bieber's "Where Are You Now" video is a collaboration project of EDM kings Skillrex and Diplo, also known as the group Jack Ü. The music video is Bieber's first after his last album "Confident" was released in January 2014.
"Justin wrote this record during a tough time in his life and it comes to us that sometimes, as artists, we are also just objects and we have to take that as much as we have to use that to create," Jack Ü wrote.
Apparently, the singer wrote the song during the time that he broke up with Selena Gomez. The 21-year-old crooner shared his feelings to Ryan Seacrest back in April that he drew a lot of inspiration from Gomez during the making of the music video. He added that his long relationship involved a lot of emotions and it's something that everyone can see in the video, UsWeekly reports.
The lyrics of Justin Bieber's "Where Are You Now" song goes something like this: "Now I'm all alone and my joys turned to moping/Tell me, where are you now that I need you?/ Couldn't find you anywhere/When you broke down I didn't leave ya/I was by your side/where are you now that I need ya?"
"Where Are You Now" peaked at number 15 on Billboard Hot 100 as soon as it was released in the United States in February.
