Move over Beyonce and Jay Z, a new couple topped Forbes' list of "Most Powerful Couple" in Hollywood. This year, Forbes' crowned Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris as the "World's Highest-Paid Celebrity Couples."
On Monday, June 29, Forbes officially released the "2015 Celebrity 100" which listed the world's top earning celebrities based on annual income only. From this year's roster, only three Hollywood couples made the list, with both members making the Celebrity 100 cut. In previous years, the combined earnings of power couple Beyonce and Jay Z ensured them the top spot of Forbes' highest paid celebrity couple. This year, the two were dethroned by Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris who earned a cool $146M, while Sasha Fierce and Jay Z slipped to second place with $110.5M.
Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are two of the biggest names in entertainment industry today. Swift's "1989" album was the bestselling album of 2014, reports Us Weekly, while Harris holds the title "World's Highest Paid DJ." The "Shake It Off" singer even proved her clout in the music industry, recently forcing Apple to pay musicians royalties during the free three month trial period for its new streaming service.
The two also have lucrative endorsements deals in their portfolios, with Swift representing Diet Coke, Keds and Sony. The Swedish DJ, meanwhile, landed an endorsement deal with Sol Republic headphones and was featured in a campaign for Georgio Armani's line of underwear.
Coming in at second place, were Beyonce and Jay Z, who recently celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary. This Hollywood couple's co-headlined "On The Run" tour was ranked as the fifth highest grossing tour of 2014. Aside from tour performances, each have lucrative business ventures under their belt. Jay Z has his entertainment company, Roc Nation, as well Armand de Brignac champagne and D'Ussé cognac, while Queen Bey has her own fragrance line and endorsements with Pepsi, H&M and others.
Finally, last on this year's list of "World's Highest-Paid Celebrity Couples" is country's favorite couple, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, who brought in a total of $57M.
