Iggy Azalea Clears Out The Air About Feud with Britney Spears

Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears have been said to share distaste towards each other. However, recently, Azalea revealed that they are 'still friends', even after the flop of their single "Pretty Girls".

Two of the talented female singers in the music industry released a single entitled "Pretty Girls" that garnered the 29th spot on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. According to Daily Mail, Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears collaborated together to create a chart-topping single that gained 78 million You Tube views. However, despite the success of the song, it did not remain at the top.

According to US Magazine, Azalea blamed the flop of the single she performed with Spears because it lacked additional promotions and TV performances. The former then posted several tweets saying that the song could have improved its success if she was not a featured artist only. Furthermore, the media even suggested that Azalea pointed Spears out as the root cause for its unsuccessful climb up the charts.

Additionally, Azalea ranted on Twitter how media have twisted the words of Spears on her Twitter account as a signal that they have not been on good terms. Allegedly, after it was confirmed that the song they produced together was, in fact, a flop, Spears used the hashtag YouWantAPieceOfMe after Azalea was said to blame the failure on Spears.

Despite reports that indicated the two have been having issues against each other, Azalea tweeted that the media is the one responsible for giving people the impression that she and Spears are not in good terms. Furthermore, she also indicated that the media wants females in the music industry to fight each other.

Although it seems like Azalea wants to dodge the blame towards her, Spears is quite professional about the issue and continue to direct her attention on promoting her new line of lingerie and sleepwear and being a good parent to her two kids, Jayden and Sean.

Now that the beef between Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea has been confirmed by the latter as a false allegation, will the two continue to work on other songs in the future? Do they actually produce good music together? Post your comments below.
