America's multinational retail store Walmart Stores Inc. has given fans of Apple a reason to celebrate after it announced on Tuesday a discounted price for Apple iPad Air 2. Walmart, according to Techtimes, is offering Apple's 64 GB Wi-Fi iPad Air 2 for only $559, much lower than Apple's $599 price tag.
iPad Air 2 is Apple's latest tablet, which reportedly has impressive new security and design features. The device was officially presented to the public during the WWDC 2015 Conference when Apple unveiled its new mobile operating system, the iOS 9. Techtimes reports that users can actually do multitasking effortlessly with the tablet, given its improved speed and other features. The 64GB iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi currently on sale at Walmart comes in three colors: space gray, silver and gold.
iPad Air 2 users will apparently be able to use what Apple described as an "innovative" feature, the Slide Over, in iOS 9. The Slide Over allows users to browse and open another application without leaving the current one. This can be achieved by simply dragging the right side of the display screen to the middle area to access the Slide Over application. The Slide Over app will then allow the two applications to run and be displayed on the screen in a split view. With this, iPad users can perform various tasks simultaneously such as browsing, sending text messages, and reading emails, among others.

Walmart described the iPad Air 2 as a device that can "expand your digital horizon." It boasts its Retina display with a 9.7-inch 2048 x 1536 resolution and a pixel density of 264 pixels per inch (ppi). The iPad Air 2 ships with 64 GB of internal storage and will be powered by a 64-bit A8X chip and M8 motion coprocessor.
The iPad Air 2 also sports a Touch ID sensor, a fingerprint technology by Apple. Its camera offers superb clarity and quality with an 8 MP rear iSight camera and an improved 1.2 MP Facetime HD Camera. The device also features the Apple Pay, which will be convenient for users who purchase items online.
