Movies like "Yesterday", "Bridesmaids" and "Spy" Director Paul Feig got the attention of his Twitter followers when he posted a status revealing the female 'Ghostbusters' Costumes, as the production of the reboot of the movie classic continues.
Feig uploaded an image of the new boiler suits to be worn by Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon on his Twitter account adding on a caption "#whatyougonnawear".
According to Cinema Blend, the most major difference of the suit from the original movie is the orange stripes on the sleeves. The color is a little bit darker, more olive than the earlier beige/khaki ensembles, and the cargo pockets on their pant legs are a bit different, they will also be having a pair of boots that gives protection from the nuclear accelerator strapped to their back. What is retained is the iconic "No Ghost" logo on the sleeve of the boiler suits which was first seen in the original movie.
According to Movie Web, rumors roaming around as to the plot that the characters of Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy will be publishing a book which claims that ghosts are real. Several years later, the character of Kristen Wiig found a job at Columbia University and when ghosts invade New York, she ends up reuniting with Melissa McCarthy's character and a new ghost-partner which will be played by Kate McKinnon. Leslie Jones' character will be an MTA employee and would be battling the ghosts face-to-face.
Chris Hemsworth will also be a part of the movie as he would play the role of the Ghostbusters' receptionist. Many see this as a challenge for "Thor" in filling the sizeable shoes left by Annie Potts. There have been rumors about potential villains, including talk of an appearance from franchise vet Slimer.
The movie is action-comedy packed and the cast is going to be pretty good. So going by this cast, and the selection of their previous projects, this will be very funny and it will be a decent hit. The "Ghostbusters" will be out in theaters on July 22, 2016.
