Michael Bay’s ‘13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi’ Movie Will Have An Early Movie Release Date

Director Michael Bay's upcoming film entitled "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" has officially received an early release date. The movie will be shown in theaters on January 15, 2016.

The release date for Micheal Bay's film next year is similar to Clint Eastwoods' American Sniper weekend release this year, of which the latter garnered the highest grossing film for the year 2014. The screenplay was written by Chuck Hogan with a roster of cast: James Badge Dale, Pablo Schreiber,David Denman, Max Martini, and John Kransinski for the lead role, as reported by Adam Chitwood.

From the original title of "13 Hours" it was officially changed to a lengthy "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" which is an adaptation from the book "13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi" written by Mirchell Zuckoff. The movie will show the Americans who were stationed in Libya when terrorists attacked the compounds on September 11, 2012.

As Britt Hayes adds an official synopsis from the book, it details the account of true events as a team of six American security operators went beyond the call of duty to defend the US State Department Special Mission Compound and a nearby CIA station from its attackers for 13 hours.

The plot focuses on the 4 American lives that were lost, including US Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens. During this attack on both buildings, controversial political outbursts were caused even after official statements were made. Russ Fischer had commented on the official title which somehow lost its brand as an action feature and turned into a documentary expose. Mr. Fischer also added an official copy taken for book promotions disclosing the true and factual personal accounts of those that went thru the tragedy for 13 hours.

A lot of Michael Bay Fans would surely be looking forward to January 15, 2016 as "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" hits theaters.
