Leeza Gibbons is the latest celebrity to have owned and sold the Encino estate for $5.77 million. According to LA Times, the property was also formerly owned by other celebrities like singer/actor Al Jolson, Charlie Sheen and Katey Sagal.
The Encino estate is a traditional house that was built in 1935. It sits on approximately two acres of land which has walled and gated grounds. Aside from the mansion, it also has a detached guest house and multiple patios. The exterior of the home is beautifully landscaped and has a resort-style swimming pool.
The main house has an area of 8,522 square feet with a total of seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The property has been restored with modern amenities and has a formal entry and a living room with a fireplace. Other rooms include a family room with a bar, kitchen with breakfast area and a butler's pantry. The second floor is where the master suite is located which features dual closets and dual bathrooms. There is also a screening room with a bar, a wine cellar, a gym and office.
Gibbons is an American talk show host who is best known as an "Entertainment Tonight" correspondent and co-host for 11 years, from 1984 to 1995. She won a Daytime Emmy for hosting "My Generation" and she was also the executive producer of the show "America Now" in 2013 and 2014.
According to Heavy, her net worth increased to $20 million after she won the Donald Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice." She was also part of another competition show, "Dancing With The Stars," in 2007.
Aside from having a successful hosting career, Gibbons also became an entrepreneur and launched her mineral make-up line, "Sheer Cover," with Guthy-Renker.
