NBA Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman is extremely proud of the way people are accepting Caitlyn. He applauded that the new generation is now more sensitive to LGBT issues.
Rodman exclaimed, if Jenner would have came out as transgender in the 90s, "He would have had his ass handed to him". He believes that the transition of Bruce Jenner into Caitlyn Jenner was made at the right time, because the public may not have been liberated minded way back in the 90's.
According to a report from Whistle Blower, Rodman also told TMZ Sports a story back then as he tried to convince Talk Sports Illustrated to let him pose on the cover for then-controversial women's clothes in 1995. He had to argue with Sports Illustrated "for three hours" just to get the cover printed; the cover in which he claimed was "the biggest selling Sports Illustrated at that time".
Dennis Rodman showed his support to Jenner as he posted a Twitter status pertaining to Jenner saying "I've got nothing but love for my girl Caitlyn Jenner. Be you honey."
During his interview with TMZ sports on Monday, Dennis thinks that Jenner broke down some huge barriers for the LGBTQ community and he also thinks that Jenner's coming out will spur many more athletes to reveal their true selves, "A lot of athletes will come out now and say they're gay. Watch," Dennis stated as quoted by the paper.
While the 65-year-old actress, who is now known as Caitlyn Jenner is still trying to figure out her sexual preference, Rodman expressed his willingness to take Jenner on a date-- if Jenner is looking for some companionship, reported by TMZ.
Different people have been weighing in and giving their opinion on the subject. Interestingly enough, Dennis Rodman has a unique perspective on Bruce's transition to womanhood. Good thing is, Caitlyn has definitely snatched and should have a fellow baddie by her side
