On Wednesday, Zen Studios announced that Marvel's upcoming film "Ant-Man" will be part of its pinball family. The company will release an "Ant-Man" pinball table for Zenball in various mobile operating system platforms, a report from Techtimes said.
Zen Studios said that the "Zen Pinball 2" video game that will feature Ant-Man will be available mid-July. The company claims that they are working collaboratively with Marvel to ensure that everything is going according to plan. Zen Studios reportedly wanted to make sure that the new video game reflects the nature of Ant-Man so that avid fans of Ant-Man will have a unique gaming experience.
"We're doing things with the Marvel's Ant-Man table that will be completely new to both our game and the pinball genre as a whole, including shrinking pinballs and crazy new mini-games that will undoubtedly excite our biggest (and smallest) fans," said a Zen Studio representative as quoted in Games Softpedia.
Earlier, a Playstation blog reported that "Zen Pinball 2" will arrive on PS, PS3, PS Vita and PS4 on July 15, this year. The Ant-Man pinball table will also be available as Pinball FX 2 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC; Zen Pinball in iOS, Zen Pinball HD for Android and Amazon, and Marvel Pinball for iOS, Android and Amazon platforms.
According to Techtimes, Marvel's Ant-Man table promises players an action-packed game. Gamers will reportedly engage in a fierce combat with Yellowjacket in a multiball fight and assume an active role in the new video game. For gamers who are interested in cross-buy versions, PlayStation users should secure either the PS3 or Vita versions to import in the PS4 console. Meanwhile, Xbox users should have a 360 version to import into the Xbox One console.
