Motorsports Update: Aston Martin Released A Carbon Fiber Dream Worth $2.3 Million ‘Vulcan’ Supercar

Ever heard of a Supercar that even the world's greatest spy 'James Bond' is not classy enough to handle it? Aston Martin, the luxury car maker released a spectacular 'Vulcan' supercar. This super track-only car is mostly made of carbon fiber and carries a gigantic 800-horsepower V12 powerful engine. This feature requires the owner or driver to undergo a "detailed and broad program of rigorous track driving training."

According to Huffington Post, carbon fiber has been looked forward for years by all car companies to increase the efficiency of fuel. The substance is stronger by 10 times and about 75 percent lighter than steel. The price is of course far more expensive that is why it has been awarded to the sports and luxury cars only.

Although it has a sexy exterior, the vehicle is truly designated to be used as a racing vehicle. The car doesn't have air conditioning or built-in stereo. The market value of 'Vulcan' is reasonable because it seems that they have factored the expense into the price. Aston Martin's 'Vulcan' will be having a $2.3 million sticker price.

According to The Blaze, 'Vulcan' is designed and engineered to deliver a genuinely bespoke driving experience. The car designed its power and handling to the capabilities and characteristics of both track and the driver.

"A sports car for true sports car lovers", quoted by The Blaze coming from CEO Dr. Andy Palmer, words that he used to describe the newest supercar. The other Aston Martin supercars cost in the $200,000 to $300,000 range.

According to the report of Wired news, the shape of the steering wheel is not round; it is 'U', specially created for the supercar 'Vulcan' and of course with the approval from Aston racing driver Darren Turner. The best part of having this wheel is that, drivers have the capability to control all these actions without taking the hands off the wheel. Driver could start the car, neutral, pit lane speed limiter; turn indicators, flash-to-pass, flexible ABS and grip control, and lastly, windshield wipers. Paddle shifters to swap gears are on the rear of the wheel. Basically, the supercar 'Vulcan' is ready to start a Le Mans-style fortitude race from the plant.

For reader's information, there will only be 24 limited-edition 'Vulcan' supercars out in the market.
