Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge & Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Specs, Release Date: Leaked Photos Reveal Innovative Design

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. will reportedly launch a new set of devices: the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+. Leaked photos of the rumored Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ have been doing rounds online for over a month now. These leaked photos reveal that the Samsung smartphones may actually sport a new "innovative" design, Techtimes reported.

As Techtimes noted, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ will have a 5.1-inch display, as announced by the company in March. However, other reports suggest that Samsung is actually gearing up to release a bigger iteration of the rumored Galaxy S6 Edge+ smartphone, which will have a 5.5-inch display. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will reportedly be launched this coming September during the IFA event.

The report pointed out that MobileDirect, a Romanian mobile accessories maker and distributor, has leaked the photos of the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+. The leaked photos supposedly feature the actual design aspects of the rumored smartphones.

Valuewalk further reported that Samsung has actually filed a trademark in the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office of the rumored Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Samsung Galaxy Note 5. It reportedly confirms that aside from the leaked photos, the company is indeed working on the rumored phablets.

Samsung's Galaxy S6 Edge+ will be powered by Qualcomm, Inc. Snapdragon 808 processor rather than the Exynos 7420 found in S6 Edge. The Samsung phablet will have a slightly bigger size and will sport a 16-megapixel main camera.

According to the same report from Techtimes, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5, based on the leaked photos, suggest that the smartphone's camera layout will be similar to the present Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. It was also revealed that Galaxy Note 5's flash is located alongside the camera module of the phone. The smartphone's loudspeaker including the 3.5mm audio jack is located at the bottom part of the upcoming Galaxy Note 5.

Valuewalk also reports that the rumored Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will sport a 2K 5.9-inch Super AMOLED display, 3GB RAM and a 4,100mAh battery. The device will be powered by Samsung's Exynos 7422 chip, a powerful mobile processor wholly owned by Samsung.
