A new teaser from "X-Men: Days of Future Past: The Rogue Cut" was recently released online and it featured Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult as Mystique and Beast, respectively.
In the clip, Lawrence and Hoult were seen talking to each other and then at one point, the two were featured hugging and kissing. Fans of the former couple were elated to see that clip because they immediately speculated that the two may be getting back together.
According to Venture Capital Post, Lawrence and Hoult's kiss is the first intimate moment they shared on "X-Men: Days of Future Past." This was also the time when they transformed into blue-colored mutants.
Meanwhile, there are also reports that Chris Martin, Lawrence's on and off boyfriend, is not happy with what he saw in the new teaser. According to US Weekly, "The Hunger Games" actress and the Coldplay frontman split for the second time within the past couple of months because Martin has noticed that Lawrence and Hoult are reconnecting once again. An insider also said that the breakup was caused by Lawrence's tight schedule and this has made their dates less frequent compared to before.
Meanwhile, a source told the publication that Lawrence and Hoult's respective families have also remained close with one another even after they split. "They're on great terms now. And their families have stayed close," the source said.
As of late, Martin, Lawrence and Hoult have not yet released their official statement regarding the issue.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" also stars Lawrence and Hoult as Mystique and Beast. The onscreen couple will be joined by other cast members including Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Micheal Fassbender, James McAvoy and more.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" serves as the third installment in the "X-Men" trilogy, following "X-Men: First Class" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past." The film is slated to hit theaters in the United States next year.
