On Thursday, Microsoft has released Windows 10 Build 10159 update. The update reportedly brings 300 fixes and a lot of features alongside other additions in Microsoft's Windows 10 operating system, Techtimes reported.
The report noted that Microsoft actually released the update first to its users in its Windows Insider Program including the testers through the Fast ring of updates. "We have something of a surprise for you today! Our last build to the Windows Insider Fast ring was just yesterday, but we're following it up with another build today-Build 10159, releasing to the Fast ring," wrote Microsoft as quoted in the Techtimes report.
Aside from the reported 300 fixes, various reports online suggested that Microsoft Windows 10 update contains a new desktop wallpaper, which is the default wallpaper for the operating system. The Build 10159 can be accessed immediately; however, it may reportedly take some time to reach all Windows Insiders, according to a report from Pure Info Tech.
"If you're actively downloading 10158 when 10159 is published, you may get an error 0x80246017. If that happens, just reboot your PC, go back to Settings and check again and you should see 10159 offered to you," Microsoft said in the same website.
Anandtech cited that one of the changes in the Build 10159 is that Microsoft's Project Spartan web browser was replaced with Microsoft Edge. The Microsoft Edge browser comes with a new icon and it has more features compared to its predecessor.
Microsoft's Cortana, according to the same website, has improved features like flight tracking and is integrated with Office 365. Cortana in Microsoft Windows 10 allows users to send email using a natural language. Also, the Photos app reportedly have improved features such as GIF support, the report added.
