Wimbledon Update: 102nd-Ranked Qualifier Dustin Brown Beats Two-Time Wimbledon Champion Rafael Nadal

Nothing can surpass the joy that Dustin Brown felt when he won against the two-time Wimbledon champion tennis player Rafael Nadal. This isn't the first time that a low ranking player was able to outwit Nadal in a game. In fact, it was the fourth time and according to a report by usatoday.com, "He is the fourth man in a row to eliminate Nadal early at the All England Club and then fail to advance in the next round. All four were ranked outside the top 100 in the world."

Nadal, distraught by his defeat exited the court. Nadal was uneasy as the game ended and according to CNN, "Nadal said he entered Wimbledon in a positive frame of mind, or at least better than what he had felt for much of this season, even after he lost in the quarterfinals at the French Open -- a tournament he has won a record nine times -- and dropped in the rankings."

It seems that Nadal still remembered the loss he experienced in the past as CNN reported, "Once he relinquished a break advantage in the first set against Brown, the doubts he experienced earlier in 2015 appeared to resurface and parts of his game crumbled."

The game was not easy for both of them. Brown was also vocal with his uneasiness as stated in report by CNN, "Being able to put that performance together, it was definitely very difficult and I'm very happy that I held it together for the whole match."

Despite losing the next match, Brown's spirit was not disheartened, as usatoday.com quoted Brown's, "Obviously having the pleasure and being able to play on Centre Court and then to play a match like that (on Thursday), doesn't make a difference if I lost today or not, no one will ever be able to take that away from me," said Brown, who lost to 22nd-seeded Viktor Troicki of Serbia 6-4, 7-6 (7-3), 4-6, 6-3."

Nothing seems to dampen the spirit of Dustin Brown and just like everyone else, there is no uncertainty in Wimbledon. Winning today and losing tomorrow is part of the game. The important thing is to play well have and fun along the way.
