"Once Upon A Time" Season 5 will be going back to the television screens a few more weeks from now and it seems like the cast is growing for the new season. According to The Global Dispatch, Liam Garrigan will join the popular television show as King Arthur. Earlier, it was also reported that Sinque Walls will play the role of the mighty knight, Lancelot.
Liam Garrigan, who is known for his roles in "24: Live Another Day," "Strike Back," and "The Pillars of the Earth," will reportedly be introduced in the season premiere and is expected to appear in the succeeding episodes. The show's executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis revealed that in Season 5 they want to do their own twist on Camelot and his relationships with Merlin, Guinevere and Lancelot.
According to Catermatt, Leroy (Lee Arenberg) will return in Season 5, as revealed by the show's co-creator, Adam Horowitz, in his Twitter account. Leroy is reportedly the most consistent character from Snow White's seven dwarves who seem to receive a significant amount of airtime. Some fans also reportedly want to see Astrid (Amy Acker) back on the show. Aside from Leroy, Robin Hood (Sean Maguire) and Zelena (Rebecca Mader) were made series regulars.
In the season finale of "Once Upon A Time" Season 4, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) sacrificed herself to save Regina (Lana Parrilla). She then took on the burden of being the "Dark One." It is said that Camelot will play a big role this season after he was revealed in the Season 4 finale. It was also speculated that it is Merlin that could save Emma. Photos of Emma as the Dark Swan were also revealed over the weekend.
According to Kitsis, Emma is fighting her dark urges. Horowitz also added that Emma will have her own version of what it means to be the "Dark One."
"Once Upon A Time" Season 5 premieres on September 27.
