The release of the new "Mission Impossible" film is set by the end of this month and fans are excited after a new movie clip revealed thrilling action scenes from the movie. Tom Cruise will reprise his role as Ethan Hunt in the upcoming movie, "Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation."
Other characters who will be returning are Simon Pegg as Benji, Jeremy Renner as William Brandt and Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell. According to MNR Daily, there will also be new characters that will join the upcoming film like Alec Baldwin and Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust.
In this movie, Ethan will reportedly face a new threat with the existence of highly skilled agents called The Syndicate, who aim to make a new world order through a set of terrorist attacks. To fight them, Ethan will gather his team and the new character Ilsa, a British agent. However, it is still not clear if she is a member of The Syndicate or not.
Entertainment Tonight featured a couple of the film's action scenes where Ethan is being chased by his enemies. There are also other sequences featured where Ethan is strapped to the side of an airplane in flight.
The previous "Mission Impossible" movie titled "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" was considered to be the biggest hit of the franchise, earning almost $700 worldwide, while the entire franchise has already earned $2 billion so far. The new installment reportedly promises the same action and thrill as the previous films delivered.
It has been known that Cruise does his own stunts in his films, and this film is no different. The stunt he did on the plane was considered to be the most dangerous he has done so far.
"Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation" will be distributed by Paramount Pictures and will premiere on July 31.
