Netflix and Amazon Fail To Keep Hannibal On Screen

Recently, the hit TV Series "Hannibal" was reported to be facing a phase out from the screens soon. Although reports indicated that Netflix and Amazon will try to bring it back to the screens, they have opted out of doing such. However, Bryan Fuller still wish to continue finding ways to keep it running for Fannibals out there.

According to Business Insider, after knowing that "Hannibal" is set for cancellation, Amazon and Netflix might be able to save it from disappearing on screen. In fact, it was reported that these companies might be the best possible solution for its resurrection. However, last Monday night, Executive producer, Bryan Fuller, Tweeted that Netflix and Amazon are not going to continue with the said efforts.

Despite the bad news, Fuller assures the Fannibals that he will still continue to find solutions to keep the show going, such as acquiring the participation of cable networks and other video companies such as Hulu and Yahoo.

According to Coming Soon, NBC announced last month that after three seasons, they have decided to let the show go. In fact, the third season finale showed shocking revelations about the characters Bedelia Du Maurier about playing another personality, Will, Jack and Alana to unite with the lead character Hannibal, and gave the audience the impression that the show will never be the same again. Was this a deadly sign that the show is facing a near closure?

Despite the negative reports in getting "Hannibal" a new home, the executive producers of the show still have a fighting chance as being commissioned internationally by Sony Pictures Television Networks. It will also finish its third season on NBC to air during Thursdays at nine in the evening until August 27 this year. Meaning, the production still has time to make efforts in keeping it from dying.

fter several seasons of twists and turns revolving the lead characters and with intelligent production, "Hannibal" might be saying goodbye. Do you think that Bryan Fuller will find a way to keep it playing for the numerous Fannibals out there? Where do you think is the best home for "Hannibal" now that NBC has cut its ties with the show?
