'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Spoilers & Premiere Date: What Will Happen to Rick & Jessie's Relationship? Showrunner Scott M. Dishes Details

After Pete's (Corey Brill) death in Season 5, will a new relationship emerge between Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Jessie (Alexandra Breckenridge)? Fans reportedly speculate romance between the characters in the upcoming "The Walking Dead" Season 6.

Showrunner Scott M. Gimple revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that the death of Pete will make things more complicated for the apparent romance between Rick and Jessie. Lincoln also said in an earlier interview that the relationship between the two characters does not look promising and it could be a bit awkward for Rick. The actor revealed that his character Rick has feelings for the first time in two years and it becomes complicated since the woman is married and Rick was the one who killed her husband.

Latin Times added that Gimple revealed that Season 6 will stick closely to the comic book and will also dig deeper into some of the backstories the comic book author Robert Kirkman never had the chance to develop within the pages of his novels. He added that he is excited for the fans to see the minor remixes they did for the show and also some of the direct stuff they got from the comics as well.

Christian Today also revealed several spoilers for the other characters of the show. According to the report, in the new stills released for Season 6, Glenn (Steven Yeun) was found to have cuts on his face which is the result of his brawl with Nicholas.

It was also earlier reported that Michael Cudlitz's character Abraham will become a big trouble in Season 6. Season 5 also revealed his backstory, which is why Michael Cudlitz described his character as a very troubled person.

"The Walking Dead" will be back on October 11.
