Meg Ryan's 2015 appearance was sure a surprise for her fans. The 53-year-old "You've Got Mail" actress stunned the crowd in her rare public appearance during Paris Fashion Week's Haute Couture Season on Monday and Tuesday.
The beautiful blonde actress made heads turn with her seemingly stretched face and a different nose. She sported a raspberry-hued lip, pink cheeks and curls. She also graced the red carpet wearing a black laced off-shoulder dress accented with ankle-strap shoes and oversized sunglasses.
After the actress' rare appearance, various reports are now suggesting that she probably went under the knife to have a completely new look. This is not the first time that she was rumored to have undergone surgery. Fifteen years ago, she was hit with controversy regarding her "trout pout" look. She was also compared to English actress, Leslie Ash, Mirror reports.
The actress was last seen 14 months ago during the 41st Annual Chaplin Award Gala in April 2014. She was last seen in the silver screen in the 2009 film "Serious Moonlight."
The actress has reportedly been busy with her on-and-off beau, 63-year-old rocker, John Mellencamp. Ryan and the "Jack & Diane" singer have been together for three years despite their rollercoaster romance.
"She's an angel sent to me, and I'm very happy," Mellencamp told NBC's Today. "And, you know, nothing's over 'til it's over," he said as quoted by Hollywood Life.
Ryan is set to appear in upcoming movie "Ithaca," which she directed and also stars in. It is slated to be released at the end of this year. Tom Hanks and Jack Quaid, Ryan's 23-year-old son are part of the cast.
