A recent report circulating online disclosed that Sony is planning to launch the Xperia Z5 smartphone in September. Sony will likely release Xperia Z5 this year along with Z5 Compact and Z5 Ultra, a report from Master Herald said on Wednesday.
According to Digital Trends, the rumored Sony Xperia Z5 was previously reported in April. It added that Sony Xperia Z5 will be possibly launched in Japan, which reportedly follows the business strategy applied in Sony Xperia Z4. The report, however, noted that the company has not yet released an official statement regarding all these speculations.
The rumored Sony Xperia Z5, according to the same report, will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor. The rumored Sony handset will have 4 GB of random access memory. In terms of its camera, the Sony Xperia Z5 will sport 21 megapixels using Sony's Exmor RS IMX230 CMOS sensor as well as a high-resolution 4K video recording. The device is equipped with a large 4500mAh battery.
Sony claims that its soon-to-be-released phone will use an innovative fingerprint scanner technology. Another rumor pointed out that there is a possibility that Sony Xperia Z5 smartphone will use a reversible USB Type-C connector, Digital Trends reported.
A related report from Androidpit revealed that Sony's rumored Xperia 5 will be using the Omnibalance principle, which was used in the previous devices.The phone will also have a Sense ID sensor. According to the report, considering the device's high-tech specifications, the price of Xperia Z5 might be close to the price of its predecessor, the Xperia Z3.
