'Batman: Arkham Knight' Trailer: DLC Pack Features Batgirl vs. Joker

A new DLC trailer of the "Batman: Arkham Knight" video game features Batgirl and Joker. The "Batman: Arkham Knight" DLC pack will be officially launched on July 14 for season pass holders while the rest of the fans can download it on July 21, a Forbes report said on Wednesday.

According to Forbes, avid fans of the video game were able to get a glimpse of the two new characters, Batgirl and Joker, via the trailer titled "Batgirl: A Matter of Family." In the said trailer, Batgirl attempts to save Commissioner Gordon from the Joker at the Seagate Amusement Park built on top of an oil rig. Robin helps Batgirl in saving the commissioner.

A report from PC Gamer said that "Batman: Arkham Knight" first DLC is a prequel to the Arkham Asylum. With Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC, gamers get to play the Batgirl character in the video game.

Batgirl, as Warner Bros. noted, is described as a "less powerful" character than Batman but with "unparalleled hacking abilities."

"When The Joker kidnaps Commissioner Gordon and holds him hostage at the Seagate Amusement Park, Batgirl and Robin must fight against the odds to save him and avoid falling victim to The Joker's sinister plan. Trained by Batman, Batgirl's combat combines with unparalleled hacking abilities to take down enemies, control objects and solve puzzles," wrote Warner Bros via a press release as quoted in the same website.

Batman News reported that Batgirl: A Matter of Family will be available for $6.99 or can be purchased as part of the $39.99 season pass. The Batgirl: A Matter of Family DLC can only be played on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
