Beyonce Net Worth: "Sasha Fierce" as a Skyscraper?

Beyonce's body has gone beyond being desirable. Now, it is inspiration for a skyscraper to be built in Australia. In a report from tmz.com, the "Sasha Fierce" star had greenlighted the construction of a 68 story building in Melbourne, Down Under.

The skyscraper is to be designed by renowned architectural firm Elenberg Fraser. According to the design firm, the building had the form of the former "Destiny's Child' in mind, most notably from her recent music video, "Ghost".

The skyscraper would be known as the Premiere Tower with address of 134 Spencer Street in Melbourne, Australia. It would be situated at the west end of Melbourne's central business district. The design was taken from the fabric wrapped bodies of the dancers in the video, which includes Beyonce.

According to the firm, as quoted by dezeen.com, "For those more on the art than the science side, we will reveal that the form does pay homage to something more aesthetic - we're going to trust you've seen the music video for Beyonce's Ghost."

The structure utilizes parametric modeling as a means to create complex shapes in consideration of data limitations in designing the structure. The skyscraper would have 660 apartments together with a 160 room hotel. The design and the construction was already given the stamp of approval by local building officials last May.

Aside from the aesthetics, the building's overall design responds to climate, wind and other limitations of the location. The firm's statement added, "This project is the culmination of our significant research. The complex form - a vertical cantilever - is actually the most effective way to distribute the building's mass, giving the best results in terms of structural dispersion, frequency oscillation and wind requirements."

While there has been no official word or reaction from Beyonce's reps, the star, whose estimated net worth is in the upwards of $250 million according to a report from forbes.com, continues to influence not only music but even art in general as well.
