Tommy Thayer has just listed his Lake Sherwood in the market for $2.695 million. The custom-built Mediterranean property was purchased by the rock star and his wife Amber in 2008 for $1.815 million, L.A. Times reports.
The following year, the couple had the property renovated. Today, the home features a brick barrel ceiling and boasts its 10-foot tall doors in the living room. Its bedrooms styled as apartments are also a focal point of the mansion. The property was listed by Jerry Adams of Land Marketing Inc., according to Metal Sludge.
The mansion sits on a 4,492-square-foot of interior space designed with four beds and 4.5 baths. It has a formal entry and six patios, one of which has a fireplace. One can also see the spectacular view of the lake and mountains on top of the mansion.
Thayer's net worth is estimated to be $10 million, Celebrity Net Worth reports. He is the lead guitarist for the glam metal band Black 'n Blue and popular hard rock band in America, Kiss. His Black 'n Blue metal band reached international fame. The group released a total of 10 studio albums, which contributed to Thayer's net worth.
Thayer joined Kiss in 2002. The band is recognized for pyrotechnic-laden performances, stage makeup and big hair looks. He contributed 10 songs in Kiss' 2012 "Monster" album. "Monster" hit the no. 3 spot in the Billboard 200 charts. The album sold about 56,000 copies in the United States on its first week.
Thayer, 54, and his wife Amber are into personalized jewelry business. At present, the couple is living in their Los Angeles home.
