'Fear The Walking Dead' Trailer & Premiere: First Look On The Los Angeles Walkers

With nearly just less than a month away, fans are eagerly waiting for "The Walking Dead" spinoff series, "Fear The Walking Dead," to air in August. While fans are waiting for the show's premiere, they were recently treated with teasers of what the Los Angeles walkers will look like.

International Business Times reports that in a new promotional spot from the set, the show's creator and cast revealed what fans can expect from the new TV series. According to the show's special effects artist, Greg Nicotero, they have the opportunity to work on a different palette in the new show.

In addition, showrunner David Erickson mentioned recently that since the show will focus on the initial zombie outbreak, fans should expect some new look for the walkers. He is also excited to see the leading characters watch their society crumble around them with blood and gore. Nicotero also hinted that these walkers are more agile and less decomposed compared to the walkers Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) discovered in the first episode of "The Walking Dead," since this was during the initial outbreak.

Fans are also reportedly being teased with show promo videos that lack any substantial information on the show. The story will focus on the characters being played by Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam-Carey as they try to survive the zombie apocalypse as a family.

According to Indie Wire, the numerous teasers only feature some of the unsuspecting characters in the show before the zombie outbreak happens. Fans are reportedly hoping for a full trailer to be shown during the show's panel schedule in the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con.

Comic author Robert Kirkman and Erickson confirmed earlier that "Fear The Walking Dead" will be completely different from "The Walking Dead." Kirkman emphasized that the show will be more emotional and that it is also a family drama.

"Fear The Walking Dead" Season 1 will have a total of six episodes and will premiere this August.
