'Avengers: Infinity War' Cast, Plot Spoilers & Release Date: Film to Feature the End of Three Iconic Superheroes?

The third installment for the Marvel movie "Avengers" is set to be released more than two years from now, but it has been reported that the two-part movie will be the end of three iconic superheroes. According to Movie Pilot, "Avengers: Infinity War" will be the end for Thor, Captain America and Iron Man because they will not make it through the battle against their most powerful villain, Thanos.

The report said that the three iconic superheroes will ikely die in "Avengers: Infinity War-Part II," which is set for release in 2019, and their deaths will reportedly make way to a new set of Avengers, which will include the new members that were introduced in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." This was reportedly confirmed by Marvel head Kevin Feige when he said in an interview that "Avengers: Infinity War-Part II" will be a "finale" to the story they started when they introduced Iron Man in 2008.

Movie News Guide also revealed that Captain America's legacy will be taken forward by Bucky Barnes and then by Sam Wilson. Chris Evans' contract with Marvel will also reportedly end with "Avengers: Infinity War."

Meanwhile, Iron Man's future is still uncertain after his failure with his Ultron plan. Robert Downey Jr. has also revealed that "Iron Man 4" will not happen.

As for the God of Thunder, it was speculated that the movie "Thor: Ragnarok" will feature some major changes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Chris Hemsworth also revealed in his interviews that he only has three movies left in his contract with Marvel.

Moreover, it was speculated that a new set of heroes in the characters will eventually take over the crime-fighting group in the future. These heroes are said to be Ant-Man, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and more.

"Avengers: Infinity War-Part 1" is set to be released on May 4, 2018 while Part 2 is slated for release on May 3, 2019.
