'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Update: Possible Description Of Supreme Leader Snoke

What's new with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens"? There's a character description update! It seems that Jason Ward, editor-in-chief of MakingStarWars, has seen the concept art for Supreme Leader Snoke and shared that the character appears to be reptilian.

The MakingStarWars editor stated that the concept art showed Snoke wearing a black kimono, with an outer robe and an off-white robe underneath. Ward described the robe as Japanese in style, with parts of the light tan or white colored under-robe sticking out of the sleeves. Mummy-like wrappings are around the waist and flowed downwards like a skirt. What's unique in the attire is the high collar that stretched up from the collarbone up to the chin.

Another interesting tidbit that Ward shared is that the Supreme Leader Snoke is a reptilian. Ward described the character's head as similar to a cobra but flatter and wider, with pitch black reptilian eyes and a bulbous mouth. He adds that the character looked very evil and angry.

The editor-in-chief also stated the concept art may not depict the final design of Snoke for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." Although Ward mentioned that the value of the concept art is knowing that the character is reptilian and in "mystic robes". Ward further stated that he doesn't envision the commander of the First Order to be headed by a human. Ward adds, "But if he was a standard human, Andy Serkis wouldn't have needed to do motion capture work on him."

Two months ago, British actor Andy Serkis was confirmed to play the role of the Supreme Leader Snoke. According to Star Wars Underworld, Serkis' character, who will also be referred to as "Uber", will have communication with Adam Driver's Sith character and both will be part of the new "Empire". They also described "Uber" as a zombie like old man, which is in contrast with the concept art that Ward saw.

Regardless whether the Supreme Leader Snoke is a reptilian or an old man, "Star Wars" fanatics are still looking forward to the movie. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is slated to hit the big screen on December 18, 2015.
