The focus of "The Big Bang Theory" has shifted from the storyline of friends to the storyline of lovers. However, the couples on the show will be facing major challenges in the upcoming ninth season.
In Season 8, Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) and Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) marriage didn't push through after the former found out about the latter's infidelity. Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy's (Mayim Bialik) relationship ended after the latter thought the former was not really serious about her.
However, none of the actors who play the roles above are experiencing these problems in real life. In fact, all of them have their respective partners, according to Movie Pilot.
According to the publication, Parsons has been happily married to Todd Spiewak and they have been together for the past 10 years. The latter works as an art director and both of them received a recognition in 2013 for being such an inspiring couple.
Cuoco-Sweeting is also happily married to her husband Ryan Sweeting. Although there were recent rumors that the two are planning their divorce, it seems that there's no truth to it because the actress regularly shares photos of the two of them canoodling via Instagram.
Meanwhile, other "The Big Bang Theory" cast members who are happily married include Melissa Rauch, the actress who plays the role of Bernadette. Kunal Nayyar, who plays the role of Raj, is also happily married to Neha Kapur. Lastly, Simon Helberg, who plays the role of Howard, has also tied the knot with Jocelyn Towne.
In other news, "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 will premiere on CBS this coming September. In the first episode, fans will already have an idea whether or not Penny and Leonard decided to wed in Las Vegas and if Sheldon and Amy will get back together.
