What makes beach yoga even more powerful is that studies also show that the ocean has the same effect in doing yoga in a confine place. Wallace J Nichols, the author of The New York Times best-seller, "Blue Mind: The Surprising Science That Shows How Being Near, In, On, or Under Water Can Make You Happier, Healthier, More Connected, and Better at What You Do," said that it is not a new discovery that spending time by the ocean lessens stress and improves creativity, however the neuroscientists and psychologists are starting to investigate the science behind it.
One famous British model Pascal Craymer practices beach yoga. Mirror UK reports that the former TOWIE babe has been spotted in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex on Thursday doing beach yoga. It is reported that she had executed several adventurous yoga poses. One of those poses was resting her hands flat on the ground as she also extended one of her legs up into the air.
