"Orange is the New Black" has already been renewed by Netflix for another season and it was just revealed that the upcoming installment will be much darker than the first three.
The third season of "Orange is the New Black" was very much different from the first two because the most recent one served as a perfect breather. According to multiple publications, Season 3 was focused more on relationships and not on the never-ending fights of the inmates.
However, this approach was not necessarily embraced well by some of the fans who said that "Orange is the New Black" is meant to be a crazy series. Luckily though, the fourth season will go back to its roots.
According to Vox culture editor Todd VanderWerff, "I think we'll look back on season three as a kind of perfect breather between the frantic first two seasons and what looks to be a harder turn in the seasons to come."
Meanwhile, some other exciting spoilers and rumors about the upcoming fourth season were recently unveiled online. According to Christian Today, there is a possibility that John Bennett staged his own disappearance to get away from his responsibilities with Daya and their baby.
In sSason 3, John was last seen visiting Daya's mom Aleida. However, upon seeing her and her family, John realized the kind of life his child will have with them.
After his last scene during one episode from Season 3, John never reappeared on the show and his fans are wondering what happened to him. There are speculations though that John staged his disappearance to set up Aleida's boyfriend Cesar.
In a previous interview, Matt McGorry, who plays the role of John, told Yahoo that he isn't certain with his character's future on the show. As of late, the actor does not know if he will be back in Season 4.
