The I Am Cait star, who celebrated her transition from 1976 Olympics gold medalist Bruce Jenner earlier this year, is of course, back on the singles market after splitting from wife Kris. Now, Caitlyn Jenner is rumored to have been spending a lot of time with a well-know transgender actress, Candis Cayne. The rumors started flying after the gal-pals were spotted enjoying an intimate NYC weekend complete with spa treatments, romantic dinners and a Broadway show.
Candis Cayne who is a known transgender advocate, transitioned from Brendan McDaniel, born 1971. She first made a name for herself in New York as a choreographer and club performer then made her move to Hollywood landing a major on the ABC show Dirty Sexy Money in 2007, playing a transgender mistress. She actually hangs out with Jenner's ex-wife Kris and daughter, Kim Kardashian as they have been photographed together on the red carpet for an Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation event last year.
Caitlyn, who as Bruce became a reality TV star in Keeping Up with the Kardashians, may have found something special with the blond actress, though it's not clear if they are actually dating yet. The 43-year old actress understandably went through the same transition Caitlyn did, she's gorgeous and is obviously wonderful to be around, so it's not really such a surprise that they would be seen hanging out intimately. Caitlyn Jenner has become the face of transgender America and Candis Cayne has made some of the biggest strides for the same cause.
While Caitlyn hasn't clarified when she'd be ready to date, she said in an interview with Vanity Fair that she's looking forward to finally living life. "I'm just going to go live life, I'm going to go enjoy life. I have nothing left to hide. I am kind of a free person, a free soul. [Up] to this point I would wear, you know, Bruce would wear, you know, sweatshirts with hoods on them so paparazzi can't get pictures and all that kind of crap, and I didn't want them to see if my fingernails were polished or, you know, on and on and on. It was just hell," intimated Caitlyn Jenner.
