The adorable two year old Riley Curry is officially a big sister now. Ayesha, wife of NBA superstar Stephen Curry announced the birth of their second child in a post titled "Enjoying the 'Present'" on her blog "Little Lights of Mine", Friday night, July 10.
"God is amazing," Ayesha wrote. "The gift of life is truly an indescribable thing. We were fortunate enough to experience it all over again...!"
Stephen Curry, 27, and his wife Ayesha, 26, named their second daughter Ryan Carson Curry.
"Our beautiful little Ryan Carson Curry arrived perfectly healthy and happy! She arrived a little early through a quick 3 hour labor and was a small 6lbs 1 oz. I was able to birth her naturally without an epidural. This is something I've always wanted to do and was so happy to get through it with the help of my darling husband and amazing doctor. This time around I felt more prepared and was able to take in the entire process. It was a miracle!" continued Ayesha's post.
Ayesha earlier tweeted out the news saying: "Our second little girl has arrived! Here is a quick update! Thank you for the well wishes and prayers."
As for the NBA's Most Valuable Player himself, Stephen Curry tweeted out celebrating his wife's accomplishment: "My wife is a champ," at 12.02 a.m. Saturday.
Golden State Warriors fans would be expected to watch out for new posts regarding baby Ryan Carson as her older sister Riley has herself become a huge media sensation this year, thanks to her adorable post-game interview take over. She was also filmed imitating her dad's signature victory move before a playoff game. Another baby would now be stealing the hearts of Warriors fans.
"We are now officially a family of 4!" Ayesha wrote. "Riley is completely enamored with her little sister and has taken on her role as big sister beautifully. I am already so proud of her!"
