Ventura California Realty Update: Victorian-Era Gothic Church is now Up For Sale at the a Reasonable Price of $1.895 Million

Some houses are built with high ceilings and it is very rampant in today's modern world. How about a house with a ceiling of 96-feet? There is a Victorian-era gothic-style structured house that offers that distinctive feature. Apparently, it was also a former Victorian church located at Ventura, California and is now up in the market for a cool price of $1.895 million.

According to the news reported by the Realtor, it was a former St. John's Methodist Episcopal Church which was built in the late 1800's. It is known for its high ceilings which is a popular design in homes nowadays. The house lies in a 5,307- square- foot land which features a 96-foot-high steeple, and is composed of original stained glass windows, columns, beams and other ornamentation.

The property also offers five bedrooms; each room has its own fireplace and bath which is located at the main level. A fully equipped kitchen and laundry room occupies the basement. Nine additional office spaces were also installed in the basement which can be rented out, Realtor added.

The lounge area was a former choir loft and is accessible with a spiral staircase from the main floor. The breakfast dining place was also renovated from its former altar sanctuary area which features a 26-foot- high ceiling. The large reception area was also from the large portion of the former church.

According to the listing agent, Arlene Shatsky, "It will take a very unique buyer [because] it's a unique property," as quoted by the Realtor.

Unintentionally, the property is located a block away from the Rubicon Theater; a stage-play venue that is famous in Ventura. The church sits two blocks from downtown Ventura, an oceanfront community roughly 66 miles north of Los Angeles.

According to the report released by Fox News, Shatsky notes that the property was also considered to be a law office of a small business owner. Since 1990's, the present residents offered a bed and breakfast in the old church. Though the business was not a big hit, the future owners could use up the building for other business ventures or other purposes, Fox news added.

This divine opportunity rise only once in a blue moon, so grab this chance to have this kind of sanctuary.
