Sudden excitement flew out for "Hunger Games" fans last Thursday night, ninth of July at Conan O' Brien show as some of the main cast of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 " like Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson guested in the said talk show. According to Entertainment Weekly, Josh Hutcherson also known as Peeta in the movie accidentally blurted out to O'Brien, "there is," suggesting more upcoming "Hunger Games" movies after "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2." But this was quickly reverted back by Hutcherson with "oh," after his co-star in the movie Lawrence who played Katniss went wide-eyed for his comment. Hutcherson also said, "I'm sorry. No, I can't say that. I'm sorry. We'll see what happens." O'Brien called it the "worst lying he's ever seen."
Hutcherson said that he "would love to act in more Hunger Games films," Lawrence on the other side, commented that "they might be too old" for it and jokingly suggests that the film may have to do a reboot and star "younger and hotter people."
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly and Slashfilm updated their articles regarding Hutcherson's revelation and said that their official resources informed that there are "no plans" for another "Hunger Games" movie at this time.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2" will soon be released on cinemas this November 20, 2015. It is the fourth release in "The Hunger Games" film series after "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" shown last 2014 and the first two, "Hunger Games" shown in 2012 and "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" was shown in 2013. The book "Hunger Games" was a trilogy by Suzanne Collins. Both the film and the book were regarded successful. The movie earned US$2 billion worldwide and was the 16th highest grossing-film franchise.
Fans would just have to wait and see for the latest "Hunger Games" updates, offers and may have to keep their fingers crossed for another prequel after "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2."
