Jana Duggar Eyes Independence Outside '19 Kids and Counting'

One of the daughters in "19 Kids and Counting" wants to leave home and lead an independent life by pursuing a higher education. Unlike her other sisters Jill and Jessa who were able to leave the Duggar home when they got married, 25-year-old Jana Duggar is said to be eyeing going back to school, according to Inquistr. She is reportedly trying to win the approval of her parents, especially her dad Jim Bob.

Reportedly, Bob is trying to win Jana's approval into staying in the family's household to help take care of her younger siblings. The report added that Jana may have decided to push her own luck after seeing his brother Joseph pursuing higher education. He is taking classes at The Crown College of the Bible in Knoxville, Tennesee, Inquistr said.

According to OK Magazine, Jana finally realized that she'll never get to live her own life if she continues to let her parents use her as a live-in babysitter. The report said that Jana's final straw, perhaps, was when she found out that her parents are planning to have a 20th child.

The "Cinderalla Duggar," according to OK!, wanted to pursue her own dream that does not include marriage or 19 kids. The number of kids might soon increase with her sister and brother's wife now expecting new babies.

According to OK's source, Janna said that she wanted to leave the family compound for good. Jana reportedly already told her parents that she will be applying at Christian Colleges. However, Jim Bob is not okay with the idea and is trying to talk her out of it, the report said.

The report also speculates that Jana, a concert pianist, will likely apply at The Crown College of the Bible because it has a music program. In the Scrapbook entry on the Duggar Family website, it is said that Jana has no "Future Plans," the report noted.
