John C. Reilly Signs Up for 'Wreck-It Ralph 2'

In a report from Cinemablend, John C. Reilly, the voice behind Ralph, confirmed in an interview that he signed for "Wreck-It Ralph 2." The article added that Penny Heart, producer of the Irish radio program RTE Arena, posted in her Twitter account the good news. She tweeted, "John C Reilly announced at the interview today that he has signed on for Wreck it Ralph 2!"

According to Entertainment.ie, the actor was the film's festival guest of honor in the Galway Film Fleadh in Ireland.

Disney is still silent regarding the sequel but film's director, Richard Moore began exploring the idea for the sequel, as reported from The Wrap. Rich Moore mentioned that Ralph will explore another world of online gaming and console gaming in the sequel, as reported from Coming Soon. In addition, there have been discussions for some signature characters of Nintendo such as Mario, Luigi, Link and Zelda to appear in the movie.

He said, "We'll really come up with something good for Mario to do [in the next film]. To be able to present him in the sequel would be great."

In a report from The Huffington Post, Richard Moore mentioned that he and the film's star would love to visit the world of Ralph and work with the characters again. Also, if there's a chance, they would grab the opportunity.

"My experience was so tremendous on this film and the animators, the designers, the story artists, the actors -- I know everyone here had a good time making the film. I've talked with John [C. Reilly] and Sarah [Silverman] and we would all love to visit that world again and work with those characters again. We would jump at the opportunity. We're all crossing our fingers about as far as you can cross them that we get a chance to do that," he said.
