Wimbledon 2015 has just ended for two tennis greats, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer, with the former winning his second Wimbledon title, beating the seven-time winner of the tournament. While their battle may have recently ended in the tennis court, who between the two athletes wins in the real estate arena? Take a look at their celebrity homes and see what's inside Djokovic and Federer's houses.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Federer has an estimated net worth of an astounding $320 million. He reportedly earns $60 to $70 million per year, with total ATP career earnings of $93 million as of July 2015.
With such a hefty amount of earnings, it's no wonder that the Swiss athlete owns various properties in different parts of the world, including Dubai and his homeland Switzerland, according to BaselShows. His glass mansion in Wollerau in Switzerland is his most recent reported property, which cost £6.5 million back in December 2014.
Mirror reports that Federer's stunning property sits beside Lake Geneva, providing amazing views of the Swiss Lake. The house, dubbed The Residence, is made up of three stories and makes the most of the surrounding beautiful views with its floor-to-ceiling windows and huge balconies.
Among the lavish amenities of the home are a swimming pool, underground parking, and a glass dome over the living area. Besides the main house, there are also two luxury apartments in the property, one of which is reportedly for Federer's parents, Robert and Lynette.
Djokovic, meanwhile, has a net worth of $130 million as of this year, according to The Richest. It states that based on Forbes' records, he has an estimated 17.2 million winnings and salary from 2014 through 2015.
Previous reports said that the Serbian athlete owns a home in Monte Carlo in Monaco. According to The Independent, Djokovic "lives within walking distance of Monte Carlo Country Club." However, only few details are known about the athlete's house.
Virtual Globetrotting reports that Djokovic lives in the same area as Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton as well as Caroline Wozniacki. Back in 2012, Celebrity Cribs reported a home that was said to be Djokovic's future home, which was inspired by Erich Mendelsohn's Einstein Tower in Potsdam.
According to the site, the property features apartments that "cascade down the hill" and boasts large curved terraces, providing panoramic views, just like Federer's Swiss mansion. The walls of the property have reportedly been molded "to wrap around the trees" that surround the street where the house is located.
