Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian's split can reportedly cause a major disaster for the "Keeping Up with the Kardshians" show. Apparently, Kris Jenner is afraid of losing Disick in the reality show despite the fact that Kourtney already left Disick over his extramarital affairs and drinking problems.
A source revealed to Hollywood Life that Kourtney's former boyfriend is one reason why the reality TV show is rating well. Disick has been in the hit series for eight years and obviously, he is an important part of the show. This is the reason why Jenner, 59, doesn't want to give up on Disick even after Kourtney's split with her ex.
"Kris doesn't want Kourtney to completely cut off all ties with Scott," a source said. "She thinks it wouldn't make business sense for them to lose Scott on 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' because of the added dynamic he brings to the show."
The insider added that momager Kris feels that Lord Disick is entertaining and can make good headlines needed by the reality TV show. Every time he has an episode, the father of three usually gets attention and captures good ratings. He has his own style that would be impossible to replace if he will be graduating from the series, Closer Online reports.
According to INQUISTR's report on July 12, the Kardashian matriarch seems to be desperate to win Lord Disick back for her own personal benefit. Kourtney was reportedly in fact betrayed of seeing her own mother convincing Scott to come home to L.A. even after she requested all family members to cut off ties with her former boyfriend.
Jenner is apparently concerned for the $100 million contract she got for Scott and Kourtney's family. Aside from the hefty deal, the source claims that the 69-year-old Kardashian is just concerned with her business and not with her daughter's and grandchildren's welfare.
Disick and Kardashian split up early this month after the former was photographed with his ex-girlfriend Chloe Bartoli, 25, in St. Tropez, Monte Carlo. Kourtney already sent most of his clothes to his Beverly Hills pad while the 32-year-old reality TV star was reportedly at a Florida rehab during his short stint on Sunday.
