'Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain’ Release Date: Trailer To Debut In Gamescon 2015

On Monday, Konami Digital Entertainment Inc., the game developer of "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain," has disclosed its plan to unveil the video game in the upcoming Gamescon 2015, Europe's biggest gaming convention. Konami has reportedly confirmed that gamers will be able to play the video game including the "Pro Evolution Soccer 2016" (PES 2016), iDigitalTimes reported.

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" is Konami's upcoming and massively anticipated roleplaying action adventure game that features stealth elements set in a large sprawling sand box world. The video game is reportedly being developed by the powerhouse studio, Kojima Productions, Konami's parent company, and will be available on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, and PS4 console platforms, according to Gamingbolt.

A related report from Gamespot indicated that the video game is slated to be released on September 1. Meanwhile, the "PES 2016" will be released on September 17.

"In 'Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain,' the million-selling series takes a giant stride and sets a new standard in stealth-action. A huge, open world setting sees the series' famed sneaking elements greatly expanded, while a host of new characters - both allies and enemies - tell a story driven by revenge as franchise protagonist Big Boss enters a series of battlefields following the deaths of his colleagues. 'Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain' is brought to vivid life with realistic weather patterns and day/night cycles. Thus, players can adapt their tactics to match the changing environment, creating an intuitive and non-linear gameplay experience," said Konami in its press release.

For his part, Martin Schneider, general manager at Konami Digital Entertainment, confirmed that "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" and "Pro Evolution Soccer 2016" will be available for the public to play for the first time at this year's Gamescon event on August 5 to 9 at Cologne, Germany, and that´s the kind of line-up that repotedly packs a punch. Konami is going to present two stunning games for the current console generation at the upcoming gaming event and further showcase the company's commitment to bringing AAA-titles to consumers.
