Prince William Started Working as an Air Ambulance Helicopter Pilot

The Duke of Cambridge, second in line of throne, Prince William has started working as a part-time air ambulance pilot. According to CNN, Prince William started working last Monday, July 13, 2015 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. He will be based in Cambridge and he will be flying missions for four counties.

According to Time, his responsibilities are to fly victims of car crashes and those people in hospitals suffering heart attacks.

In an interview by CNN, Prince William said "For me it's really important to be grounded. I feel doing a job like this really helps with grounding ... at the core of what I am trying to become." He also said that he wants to become "a good guy," "a decent individual."

CNN also stated that Buckingham Palace won't be giving special treatment, only in terms that he needs to be released for official duties. They also stated that he will get a regular wage which the Prince will donate to charity.

Time also included in their article what EAAA Chief Executive Patrick Peal said as Prince William was added in their workforce, "We're looking forward to him being part of the team."

In the article by Daily Mail last Feb 26, 2015, being an Air Ambulance helicopter pilot was already a plan by the Prince. He had studied since last September to pass the 14 exams to become a helicopter pilot.

Prince William is now a loving father to two cute children, Prince George of Cambridge and Princess Charlotte of Cambridge born last second of May, 2015 and was just recently christened on July 5.
