The new Harry Potter spinoff entitled "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is finally wrapping up its cast for the upcoming movie. Eddie Redmayne has been tasked at playing the magizooloist Newt Scamander while the production is still on a hunt for the next Hermione Granger of "Harry Potter".
According to Variety, the major roles for the upcoming "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" movie, a screen rendition of J.K. Rowling's 2001 novel, are almost filled. The said book is the first of three books that will be transformed into a movie, something that Harry Potter fans have been dying to experience yet again.
"The Theory of Everything" actor is set to play a magizooloist named Newt Scamander, Katherine Waterston, actress from the movie "Inherent Vice" and "Boardwalk Empire", to play the witch Propentina, Dan Folger as Jacob and Alison Sudol as Queenie. The said movie will also be directed by David Yates.
According to The Sydney Morning Herald, the production is holding an open casting on London's East End at nine in the morning to find the next Hermione Granger for the said movie. Warner Bros is set to find a little girl between the ages 8 and 12 to play "Modesty" in the upcoming movie. The said open casting will be held at London's Exhibition Centre on Saturday. The person to fill this role will both join Scamander and Waterston in the production and is said to be one of the roles that will shine in the said movie.
The little girl's character is someone who is haunted yet has the inner strength and calmness. Furthermore, the also is able to see through people and have a clearer perception of who they really are in the story.
