"Scandal" star Tony Goldwyn and wife Jane Musky acquired an Upper West Side apartment this summer and paid $1.785 million for the property.

The couple's new duplex has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, and is located at 32 West 74th Street, reports Real Deal. The fifth floor Manhattan apartment boasts of a high-end kitchen and a wood-burning fireplace with a marble mantle. A renovated bathroom features medicine cabinets equipped with a defogger and a built-in nightlight. The master suite has a south facing patio, skylights and two custom closets.

Goldwyn's new Upper West Side property could just be a temporary home during Manhattan visits, reports Zillow, since the apartment is located opposite Scandal's filming location. Zillow adds that the property could also be for one of the couple's two daughters.

The chic apartment was previously owned by the vice president of Mandarin Oriental, Jan Goessing and his wife Susanne. The two bought the duplex in 2012 for $1.3 million.

As previously reported, the finale episode of Season 4 had viewers curious and anxious whether President Fitz and Olivia Pope will finally be together. Although Season 5 will be riddled with challenges for the two which includes a possible team up between Huck and Rowan Pope which will force Olivia to cut ties with Huck.
